"Inspiring Young Minds, One Book at a Time"
The Office of Student Welfare, in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter at VIT Chennai, organized an Online Book Review Session under the guidance of Dr. T. Subbulakshmi. The objective was to encourage students to go beyond merely reading books and instead engage with them in ways that could inspire reflection, discussion, and personal growth.
Four student volunteers presented detailed book reviews. Each reviewer summarized the content while reflecting on the insights and life lessons gained. The session also featured an Evaluator who provided constructive feedback covering clarity, depth of analysis, and the ability to connect ideas to real life.
The event concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Subbulakshmi, who highlighted the importance of cultivating a reading culture. The Book Review session succeeded in inspiring students to view reading as a space for critical thinking and intellectual sharing.
